AS YOU GO - Great Commission thru Christian Encouragement

When Jesus said “As you Go,” He meant as you live your normal life.

Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

He wasn’t telling people they had to travel far away or do something special first.
He was assuming they were already going places—working, walking, talking, and living.
The idea is simple: faith goes with you.

As you go to work, to school, to the store, or spend time with family and friends, that is where following Jesus shows up. You live it out in everyday moments, through how you speak, act, listen, and care about people.

“As you go” also means don’t wait. You don’t need the perfect moment, more training, or a special role. Wherever you are right now is a place God can use you.

Ordinary places and ordinary people are enough. In plain words, Jesus was saying:

Live your life, and as you do, help people know and follow Him.

By embodying Christian values of love, empathy, and support, we can all be Christian Encouragers and positively influence those around us.

To be a Christian Encourager is to uplift and support others in their life journey, fostering a sense of community and the fruit of our Christian spiritual growth .

The benefits extend to both the encourager and the encouraged and the broader community of relationships that are enhanced with increased hope.

For the encourager, it brings joy and fulfillment in serving others, deepening their own faith through acts of wisdom, kindness and compassion.

The encouraged person receives strength, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose, feeling supported and loved in times of need and of things that are noble, true, and good.

Christian Encouragement commonly occurs in various situations such as during times of loss, illness, or uncertainty as well as joys in life to be celebrated, where a kind word, prayer, or even the smallest gesture and blessing can make a significant impact on someone's life.

You and I are witnesses of the truth of the Gospel empowered by the The Holy Spirit and as ambassadors of His encouragement, will empower you in Christ with with others.

John 14:16                  Jesus promises the ultimate comforter and encourager - And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever.

James 1:19                Encouragers must be sensitive to the needs of others, offering support that is both timely and appropriate. Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger, underscoring the importance of listening and understanding in the process of encouragement.
